"My concentration portrays the innocent nature of children and their willingness to experience the natural world through legends from around the globe."
Madeline Fuentes
"My concentration focuses on the sense of wonder with which children look at the world and the fact that this sense is often lost as people mature. The pieces discuss this subject by following a mother as she regains her wonder at the world by striving to see it as her young daughter does. I use a variety of mediums to help effectively capture the various moods portrayed throughout the series."
Lilly Hereford
Grace McDonald
"My concentration represents the lessons that are instilled in young women as they grow up in modern times. The photographs were created to continue a conversation and create a sense of consciousness of feminism. Unless we openly acknowledge the oppression that women face then society can never improve. "
Thuy Nguyen
"My concentration is the reflection of my personal journey and transition from Vietnam to the United States. The drawings display the internal, cultural, emotional adaptation I made to the new environment. "
Jo Rizzo
Safiya Wilson
My concentration is a story of force, hurt, pain and the rise to power and respect among cultural oppression.
Carrie Yuan
"People have strived to uncover the secret of the brain from the beginning of time. Starting from the Medieval Age, the advancement of neuroscience has relied on artists for integrating art and science and philosophy. This concentration focuses on an artistic representation of various understandings of the left and right sides of the brain."
Katrina Zhang
"My concentration focuses on animation by using digital art to design characters and their stories. I will use software, SAI and Wacom Tablet to do it." (These pictures are from Katrina's breath and concentration).
